Rare Pair of Crystal Comp CMP8 8" Subwoofers, JL Audio, Sundown, Kicker, Rockford beaters in Heathrow, Greater London for sale

Very reluctant sale, I picked these up from a user on Talk-Audio who had barely used them himself. They have spent more time in a garage then being used, as evidenced by the corrosion on the backplates of these. If you are looking at these, then I'm sure you know what they are - but just in case, these are possibly the best 8" subwoofers ever made. Lovely SQ and will get fairly loud, but their real purpose is to simply sound phenomenal. Plenty of specs, info (including T/S specs) available online. If you cannot find them, shoot me a message and I will try and dig them up for you. The good: - Stunning, rare subwoofers in full working order. - Cones and surround are physically in very impressive shape, they look almost like new. - 'Ear sex', as one very well known SQ basshead put it... The bad: - Corrosion on backplates, can be polished though to look brand new - Terminals are in a bit of a mess - needs de-soldering and cleaning up. One of them is glued on to the basket Haven't seen one (let alone two!) of these come up for sale in ages, so act fast. They were classed as the best 8" in the 'big 8 challenge' (or something like that anyway) over a decade ago. Will post, but it's not cheap. Prefer cash on collection.
