IBM eserver xSeries 205 8480 - P4 3.06 GHz HT, 2GB, CD, 38GB Mirror, 1 PSU, Media - working server in Heathrow, Greater London for sale

Recently decommissioned server for sale. It was used purely for the company accounts databases over the last few years so has rarely been stressed out. Being an IBM brand it has never had any issues and has plenty of life left. Parts for these are quite inexpensive so you can upgrade it or use as is even at home. Original media and CD drivers are supplied so you will need to either make your own slipstream CD with those drivers or newer ones from IBM's website or make yourself a floppy with drivers for installing XP, Win 7, etc. It is supplied with 2 x 38GB drives that are currently in mirrored configuration for data reliability. The 2GB memory has been sufficient for data server purposes until now. It was also briefly run as an mdaemon email server so is quite capable for what it is. No OS installed as it has been security wiped, but completes post successfully. the supplied CD/DVD drive works fine. Ready for pickup only due to weight.
